About
Rachael Hanley-Browne MA
People come to me as a thinking partner, sounding board, facilitator and systemic leadership specialist.
My strength is to draw out the unseen, the unfamiliar and create awareness.
What can I offer you?
Specialties
Strategic Leaders & Experts
My specialty is working alongside leaders with strategic oversight: Chairs, Non-Execs, CEO's, Executives and Directors. Frequently these leaders are in the expert or knowledge economy, including academics, engineers, governance, and regulatory professionals (finance, legal, judicial, senior civil servants), physicians and healthcare specialists, scientists, and technologists. They value my perspective; a holistic approach, relational focus, and ability to create a non-judgemental, or critic free, space in which to explore their leadership role.
Experience
Entrepreneur - Fortune 500 - Charitable Trust
With over 25 years’ experience in international talent management, leadership development and commercial business leadership, I have a substantial track record in advising and consulting with clients from multiple sectors that include consumer, technology, industry, professional and financial services, membership, regulatory bodies and higher education.
During my career I have worked and consulted within a range of organisational contexts including PE investors, entrepreneurial start-up, family owned, trade association, executive non-departmental public body, charitable trust, multinational Fortune 500 business and UK PLC. Culturally, these included US and North American owned and headquartered organisations and an EMEA regional hub (with 24 nationalities and 25 languages). Based in London, I am both a company director and board member of a professional body. I bring all my experience into my practice, this includes individual and systemic team coaching, mentoring, and organisation development (OD).
Voluntary Work
Investing in Others
I invest about 20% of my time volunteering for organisations that share my ethics and values. I am the President and Chair of EMCC UK, and sit on the EMCC Global Council; our aim is to promote good practice in coaching, mentoring and supervision. This is achieved via accreditation, quality standards and research. I was previously a board mentor for Metalogue, a partnership specialising in Business Transformation and OD. Also, a volunteer as a well-being coach for Macmillan Cancer Support for those living with cancer, and for Coaching Through COVID supporting front-line NHS staff. By investing in me, you allow me to do this work.
